At least for me, this fall has been busier than most. Թ There were trips to the Southwest, New Orleans, Skepticon, and we had a wedding to photograph (which was yesterday – congratulations Kevin and Carey). Թ All were fun, but tiring. Թ Eleven hours of sleep last night helped!

On Thanksgiving day, after arriving back home after dinner at Mom and Dad’s house (thanks for cooking!), Mary, excitement in her voice, told me to look at the light in the woods behind our house. Թ I always wish I were in a better place to catch these interesting moments of light – by a lake, a mountain, etc., but none of that is close enough since these moments usually don’t last too long. Թ This light barely lasted long enough for me to grab a camera and snap a few before it faded.Թ I’m sure that others who do live in more favorable locations, or who happened to be in the right place at the right time did much better with this light than I.
